Zurich Connect has appointed Experian, the global information services company, to drive multi-channel marketing campaigns for its UK direct insurance business.
Powered by Experian Elements, the insurance giant will use Experian's marketing software, data and analytics combined with its data insight to create a series of integrated campaigns.
Experian Elements will provide a single customer and prospect view across the Zurich Connect web-based home and motor insurance brand in the UK. The database marketing software will encompass Zurich Connect's diverse customer and prospect data, supplemented by Experian's marketing data.
Using Experian Elements' campaign and modelling capability, Zurich Connect will seek to rapidly develop and deploy highly targeted, personalised marketing campaigns across multiple contact channels. It will form the hub of Zurich Connect's UK customer management capability and form the foundation for future developments. Experian's data strategy and analytical teams will also provide data procurement and data management services and help develop robust, high performance models for campaign use.
Gordon Wilmott, Head of Data, Analytics & Planning, with Zurich Connect in the UK commented: "We have chosen Experian Elements as the foundation to transform our use of data for marketing. We will seek to exploit the capabilities it provides via voice, email and post to our UK-based customers and prospects. The key to the success of our data strategy is the 'closed loop' capability Elements provides, from planning through to execution and analysis. Experian has a proven track record within our business and Experian Elements will prove fundamental for further gains in productivity, insight and performance."
Tony Mooney, Managing Director of Experian's Integrated Marketing division, said: "We are delighted to be strengthening our partnership with Zurich, one of the biggest names in the insurance world. Experian Elements will provide a key foundation on which Zurich can deliver its enhanced customer service and experience strategy and build the Zurich Connect brand."
