Huntington fights cheque fraud with Generated Systems

Generated Systems, a leading provider of innovative software solutions for banks, today announced that Huntington National Bank has installed software that allows a bank to target small and middle market customers to more easily use a system aimed at detecting fraud and counterfeiting.

Specifically, Huntington has installed Generated Systems' ARP Translator, a component of Generated Systems' Business Banking Desktop. ARP Translator directly integrates with QuickBooks®, etc., and automatically retrieves check issue data according to a customer defined schedule. Once check issues are retrieved, they are translated into the bank's check register format, encrypted and automatically transmitted to the bank's back office. ARP Translator supports other accounting systems via direct connect and preset rules.
"Huntington's biggest challenge implementing Positive Pay for small business customers is collecting check register data in the bank's standard format," said Mary Navarro, Retail and Business Banking Director. "Generated Systems' product solves that problem and also saves the customer's time by automating the entire process. Positive Pay is a very effective tool to fight check fraud and we see Huntington Easy Export as the key to offering this service to the small business market."
"We are very excited about teaming with Huntington to help them penetrate the small business market," said Edward Gainer, President of Generated Systems. "ARP Translator is just one example of how Generated Systems' Business Banking Desktop™ can be leveraged to provide innovative multi-channel ebanking solutions for small and midsized businesses."
The ARP Translator™ is available for general distribution and is a component of the Generated Systems' Business Banking Desktop™.
