MoneyGram names Steven Piano EVP, human resources

MoneyGram International (NYSE:MGI), a global leader in the payment services industry, today announced that it has named Steven Piano executive vice president of Human Resources, reporting to Pamela H. Patsley, chairman and chief executive officer.

Piano brings to MoneyGram more than 20 years of Human Resources experience, most recently from National Grid, a multi-national utility company in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he has served as the global lead Human Resource partner responsible for all human resources activities for the global gas distribution, electricity generation and distribution businesses. Prior to that, he spent several years at First Data Corporation, a global electronic payment processing company with 28,000 employees worldwide, most recently as senior vice president of Human Resources for the company's International segment.

Piano holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Hofstra University School of Business in Long Island, N.Y.
