PA Consulting Group, a leading management, systems and technology consulting firm, announces that Jos Stoop has joined the firm as a Member of PA's Management Group.

Stoop will spearhead Capital Markets Technology Services, part of the Global Financial Services Practice operating out of PA's New York and London offices.

Stoop, who most recently served as CIO and EVP of NumeriX LLC, has a long history in the financial services industry. Prior to Numerix, he founded and served as CEO of Intuitive Products International (IPI), now renamed to Scrittura, its flagship product. Stoop led IPI during a 10-year period of growth in providing derivatives operations software and technology services and saw Scrittura become the standard for derivatives documentation generation and processing. Stoop brings with him David Hyatt who worked with Stoop at IPI. Hyatt is based in New York and was previously with Infinity Financial Technology (later SunGard Trading and Risk Systems) and Traiana.

"It's good to be back," says Jos Stoop. "I missed the consulting space. After creating Scrittura and spending time with analytics at NumeriX, I am excited to set up a capital markets technology consulting group simultaneously in London and New York. Doing this with PA is a unique opportunity to combine reputations and energy to hit the ground running."

As a senior member of PA's Financial Services Practice, Stoop will focus his team on derivatives technology consulting by putting to practice his business, project management and technology experience, to sell and buy-side market participants as well as to the major software vendors. These offerings will integrate well with PA's strategic services, providing a full range of capital markets consulting services.

Peter Stockman, managing PA's Capital Markets Strategic Services, commented, "With Jos' team on board, PA has the ability to serve our capital markets clients end-to-end: from strategy and operations improvement through to solution design and implementation."

Stoop is rapidly growing his team, recruiting a mix of industry experts in both London and New York, with plans to include Toronto and Frankfurt soon after.
