Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China Ltd., has launched an Online Financial Management (OFM) service, Ping An One, powered by international banking and payments Solutions provider eWise Systems (eWise).

Ping An One is the first online financial management service in China to provide customers with a single sign on to over 50 online institutions including popular online banking sites, security and insurance accounts, third party payments, airlines and email accounts.

"Ping An One takes online account management service to the next level allowing customers to securely view and manage all of their online accounts in one place with a single password," says Mr Yethun Goh, Group Senior Vice President and CMO.

Mr Enoch Tsui, e-Business Division General Manager, explains "Ping An researched online financial management implementations around the world and recognized the importance of choosing the right technology partner to ensure a secure and future proof implementation." Ping An has a multi-year agreement with eWise to manage the Ping An One OFM infrastructure (in partnership with IBM Global Services China).

Ping An is pioneering the introduction of online financial management to Chinese consumers using eWise's client-side online application with an integrated personal balance sheet, supporting international industry standards for privacy and security.

Ping An selected eWise to power its OFM service as it supports some of the world's top 50 financial institutions, including banks such as Citibank (UK), First Direct (UK) and Westpac (Australia), providing innovative payment systems and online banking applications that make transacting online easier and more secure for millions of end-users worldwide.

After an extensive pilot Ping An launched its OFM service to the public on 18 August 2009. The Ping An One launch is supported by a creative online and TV advertising campaign featuring Chinese celebrities Shang Wenjie and Liu Qian.
