eSignal, a division of Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC) and a leading provider of streaming, real-time financial market data, news, analytics and decision-support tools for professional and individual traders, today announced that the Company has designed customised versions of several of its applications for Knowledge to Action, one of the UK's leading providers of financial training.

The applications are powered by Interactive Data's comprehensive global financial market data.

These applications, including a customised version of eSignal OnDemand, were designed specifically to support Knowledge to Action's various training and coaching courses for equities, futures and Forex traders, including its flagship Traders University® programme. Knowledge to Action will use a combination of eSignal's real-time and delayed market data, as well as advanced tools such as live market scanners, advanced charting and analytics, the ability to customise analytics with eSignal Formula Script (EFS)SM, back testing, portfolio management and alerting. eSignal has also created a new real-time scanner for equities traded on the London Stock Exchange. The scanner incorporates criteria specific to Knowledge to Action's trading strategies, enabling traders to apply models that they have learnt in the classroom.

"We teach real-life strategies that work - and have taught thousands of people using this model of strategy-led training. eSignal's tools will help speed-up the learning process, enabling traders to easily apply our proprietary models."

"Being able to offer customised market scanners - as well as charting and analytical tools - consistent with Knowledge to Action's proprietary trading models presents an exciting opportunity for us. We have programmed Knowledge to Action's trading strategies within our scripting language," added Hilary London, general manager, eSignal, EMEA. "When combined with Interactive Data's comprehensive real-time market data, we are able to deliver real value to the trading experience of Knowledge to Action's students."
