Fiserv (NASDAQ: FISV), the leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, today announced that The Golden 1 Credit Union has expanded its relationship with Fiserv by implementing its Consumer Source Capture product.

The Golden 1 is the first credit union to utilize the ASP version of the remote deposit capture product and one of the first companies to implement this innovative solution. The Golden 1 integrated remote deposit capture into its existing online banking and payments solutions from Fiserv, Voyager Consumer Banking and CheckFree RXP.

"We have a longstanding relationship with Fiserv and their products have consistently helped to increase our efficiency and member satisfaction," said Teresa Halleck, president and chief executive officer of The Golden 1 Credit Union. "We think the Consumer Capture product will effectively bolster our retail banking capabilities, as our members will now have the option of saving time and money by depositing checks anywhere anytime without making a trip to the credit union."

An example of Fiserv's core competency in payments, Consumer Source Capture is a convenient, secure and easy-to-use solution that allows consumers or small business owners to electronically scan and deposit checks from any location with a PC, a scanner and an Internet connection. An Internet solution delivered through existing online banking applications and consumer home scanners to deposit checks, the solution guides consumers through the steps of creating a deposit ticket, scanning the check, entering deposit details and confirming the deposit. Consumer Source Capture can be installed as a new remote deposit capture (RDC) product or integrated as an add-on with any existing RDC solution used by the institution.

"Consumer Source Capture from Fiserv changes the way consumers and small businesses interact with financial institutions and vice versa," said Teri Carstensen, president, Fiserv Item Processing and Payment Solutions Division. "Financial institutions can now provide customers with much faster funds availability while saving them time, money and energy by doing their essential banking activities from the comfort of their own home or office."
