Chi-X Canada ATS Limited today announced the "ETF X Factor" pricing program.

With the new promotional program, takers of ETF (exchange traded funds) liquidity on Chi-X Canada will see their charge reduced to $.0020 per share, while ETF liquidity providers will receive a rebate of $.0025 per share*. The new rates, which will run from September 14, 2009 through October 16, 2009, will apply to all Canadian ETFs available for trading on Chi-X Canada (for complete list, please visit www.chi-xcanada.com).

"From our launch, a core tenet of Chi-X Canada has been our desire to pass along the benefits of competition to our participants," said Beth Haines, manager of client relations for Chi-X Canada. "Our March pricing promotion was a huge success both for the Canadian trading community and Chi-X Canada, and we're excited to build on that by passing along the benefits of trading Canadian exchange traded funds with the 'ETF X Factor.'"
