Allpay Limited has become the UK's newest independent company to achieve full MasterCard accreditation, enabling it to Manufacture, Chip Implant, Personalise and fulfil MasterCard Chip and PIN card products.

The Hereford-based company has invested in excess of £2 million to ensure that its equipment and infrastructure technology is built to the highest of standards.

State-of-the-art equipment, the recruitment of industry experts and installation of high tech security systems has enabled allpay to achieve the Logical Security and Card Quality Management phases of accreditation, having already achieved Physical Security accreditation in August 2008.

The company now boasts an impressive suite of accreditations which include ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance.

allpay has been a Manufacturer and Card Personalisation Bureau of magnetic stripe payment cards since 1996, and the new Mastercard accreditations add Chip and Pin card manufacturing and personalisation services to the company's impressive portfolio as well as confidential PIN mailing products.

The initial aim of the company is to attract small to medium scheme issuers who are looking for a guaranteed reliable service.

The company has the capacity to manufacture and personalise in excess of 50 million cards per annum to meet these demands.

Superior service levels, flexibility to deal with specific customer requirements, the accommodation of short runs and tight lead times will further strengthen the company's appeal to programme managers.

"Here at allpay we have invested heavily in creating a state of the art production and personalisation facility which, I believe, is second to none in the industry, giving allpay the capability to service the future requirements of existing and new customers," comments allpay Operations Director Mark Thomas.

He continues: "In parallel with our production capabilities, the recruitment of industry experience in sales, operations and chip development ensures that whether the project is large or small, allpay has the ability to deliver on time, every time, to thee highest of quality standards whilst retaining the flexibility to accommodate bespoke requirements and specialist products.

"The sector has recently seen amalgamation of large players leading to a reduction in the number of providers in the sector, which has led to customers experiencing uncertainty around supply of product combined with long lead times.

"In recognising this issue, allpay realised there was a need for an alternative provider committed to providing high performance and on time delivery and it has positioned itself ideally to meet this requirement."

allpay founder and Managing Director, Tony Killeen, adds: "This is a significant investment for allpay and represents an exciting move for the business. Achieving full MasterCard accreditation is a huge milestone for allpay and we are very proud of our capabilities in manufacturing, chip implanting, personalisation and fulfillment."
