Surecomp, a leading provider of global trade solutions for the financial services community, announced today that its flagship trade finance banking system, IMEX, has been awarded the prestigious SwiftReady Trade Finance 2009 label status for the 11th consecutive year.

Managed by the SWIFT Partner Management team, the 11-year-old certification program confirms SWIFT-compliance of third-party financial applications that complement the cooperative's value proposition. Certified applications are awarded a SWIFTReady Application label following their functional and technical compliance with SWIFT standards, messaging services and connectivity.

Designed to reflect an application's ability to provide automation in a SWIFT environment, the application label is based on a dedicated set of SWIFT-specific certification criteria that are re-evaluated annually.

"This recognition represents a vote of confidence by SWIFT for both IMEX and our company," Joel Koschitzky, Surecomp Chairman and CEO, said. "I would like to express my thanks to all Surecomp team members who have been involved in the development and support of IMEX over its many years of success. We're extremely proud of these achievements, remain fully committed to meeting our high standards, and aim to continue developing and improving IMEX to ensure a high-quality trade finance solution for our customers."
