Integrated Media Management (IMM), a document output management and automation technology provider, announced that Clark, N.J.-based Aspire Federal Credit Union has gone live with TotaleAtlasWeb, a remote signature capture and secure document delivery solution that enables their members to sign documents remotely anywhere, 24/7 via the Web.

The credit union completed 69 member signing events during May and increased by 34 percent to 105 in the month of June.

"Providing our members with the remote capabilities to view and sign documents securely via an online channel has contributed to more convenience, cost savings and faster timeframes in how we do business," said Diane Cannon, Aspire FCU lending sales team manager. "Our members are not restricted to branch hours and locations, and they are benefiting from more secure document delivery than ever before."

The $175 million dollar credit union now serves more than 20,000 members, all from very diverse employee groups, throughout the northeastern U.S. Aspire FCU previously was known as FAA Eastern Region Federal Credit Union, but wanted to extend its offerings beyond just employees of the Federal Aviation Administration. Aspire FCU's core group continues to be FAA members that work in many facilities through the northeast. For this reason, it was ideal to provide a remote signature and document delivery solution that would enable members to do business with the credit union at their convenience. Additionally, the credit union's locations are in secure buildings that enforce strict airline regulations, so access to a branch at times could be difficult in its own right.

Aspire FCU is an existing IMM customer and, when making the decision to incorporate remote technology into its operations, knew that IMM's TotaleAtlasWeb would offer the quickest return on investment. TotaleAtlasWeb additionally is enhancing IMM's TotaleWorks product suite that the credit union has in place and which includes TotaleAtlas, a document preparation engine that captures signatures electronically; TotaleChecks, software that laser prints online and batch institution official checks on blank security paper; and TotaleReceipts, an automated teller receipt solution that also captures signatures.

Cannon added that implementation of TotaleAtlasWeb was at first met with hesitation from some employees, fearful that this additional technology would be more of a hurdle rather than an avenue to expedite and streamline the transaction process. "But already we're seeing huge employee acceptance. They now understand there are time-saving and cost benefits that come with offering remote signature technology."

"Aspire FCU was looking for a way to add convenience and mobility to current members while continuing to extend its footprint in the region, and TotaleAtlasWeb is delivering on those expectations," Chuck Klein, CEO at IMM, said. "The response from their members is a testament to the demand for remote signature technology and the foresight of Aspire FCU's management."
