Atos Origin , an international IT services company, has signed a significant outsourcing contract with ING. Goals are to increase the bank's storage capacity, innovate its infrastructure and implement and manage a new simplified IT infrastructure.
This contract further extends the longstanding relationship between the two parties under which Atos Origin is delivering applications, workplace services, system integration, consultancy, end-to-end services for back-office payment processing, applications for ING sales offices across Europe. Under the contract, Atos Origin will deliver all storage related to workplace environment in the Netherlands and Belgium. Atos Origin applies an innovative angle in its services by using virtualization and consolidation. The managed services are based on Atos Origin's Information Lifecycle Management portfolio.
