IBM (NYSE:IBM) today announced it has signed an information technology (IT) services agreement with Tsys, one of the world's largest payment services companies.
The recently established relationship with IBM will support the building, implementation and management of TSYS' technology infrastructure in Brazil.
The multi-year contract aims to create a dynamic and flexible IT infrastructure model for electronic payment processing for TSYS clients in Brazil. TSYS' IT environment will be operated in IBM's Technology Center in Hortolandia, Brazil. The contract also covers a business resiliency site located in Sao Paulo.
The agreement was signed in the second quarter of 2009.
