Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions, a provider of voice and electronic trading infrastructure and services for the trading communities, has appointed Sébastien Jaouen as head of its Trading Community Services line of business.
Jaouen will lead the TCS division, driving membership of its dedicated trading network, managing key partner relationships and leading the technical network team (Design, Build and Run). He will also manage the business development, sales support and marketing teams.
Jaouen will be based in the company's Paris headquarters. He has over ten years professional experience in managing director and sales manager roles for companies offering software and IT services for financial institutions and banks worldwide. Prior to joining Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions, Jaouen was managing director, Benelux for GL Trade, part of the SunGard Group. Other roles at GL Trade included managing director of the South Africa division, based in Johannesburg and sales manager for stock exchanges in Paris.
This appointment is very significant to the organisation and supports the direction Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions is taking to provide the best team, services and solutions to its financial markets customers. In particular, Jaouen will be encouraging Trading Community Services customers to take advantage of the major benefits of Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) trading network including switching speed, traffic engineering and convergence. This secure financial transaction platform helps integrate and deliver critical real-time extranet trading applications.
