SmartCard Marketing Systems (PINKSHEETS: SMKG) a leading provider of prepaid cards and payment transaction management services, announced today that it has partnered with a major online marketing company to launch the "Go Green, friends of the environment "SM version of the VelocityMoney Prepaid Debit Card.
The marketing campaign utilizes a new card design and slogan of "Go Green, friends of the environment "SM , where a part of the proceeds from the purchase of every card goes toward environmental causes.
Prepaid Card Corporation, Inc. CEO, Chris Ingram, stated, "We have identified a definite interest in our large customer base for environmental causes. We are very excited about this special sales campaign with the VelocityMoney Prepaid Card. We are partnering with several major environmental organizations on this program. We think our customers will respond enthusiastically to the convenience of the prepaid card and the chance to help the environment. We hope to sell 10,000 cards in our first 90 days."
