The Cybercom Group, one of the worlds leading high tech consultancy that offers global sourcing for end-to-end solutions, and ChronoPay, one of Europe's leading payment service providers, have signed a partnership agreement in offering PCI-Forensic investigation to ChronoPay merchants worldwide to comply with PCI-DSS in case of credit card data compromise.

"Despite the taken precautions, many online companies are at a loss when an intrusion occurs in their system. When the system has been compromised, it is often not clear on what measures can be taken. How online businesses respond to and handle a security breach on their information system determines how well they will be able to control the costs and consequences that follow. Cooperating with The Cybercom Group provides our merchants in that case the ability to use the services of the Nordic Forensic Team of The Cybercom Group,"says Shai Meijers,Marketing Manager of ChronoPay

"The global growth of credit card transactions has been accompanied with an increasing growth in fraud. As well funded criminal groups enter the arena the attacks against the transaction systems have grown more sophisticated and focused, but the risk aware merchants, PSP:s and transaction partners are not without arms. Cybercom's Nordic Forensic Team (NFT) is a world leading IT-Forensic supplier and a Qualified Forensic Investigator (QFI) according to PCI-DSS. Cooperating with ChronPay gives us an effective way of countering these threats by already having a defined process, agreements, and procedures put in place before anything happens. This gives ChronoPay's customers the benefit of a fast and effective response to these crimes, minimizing time consumption, cost and lowering the exposure of card information and penalties," says Emil Nordstrom Head of IT-Forensic Services at Cybercom Group.
