BSI Bank has extended its use of 4sight Securities Finance (4SF) to meet the needs of the additional clients it has taken on as the result of its recent acquisition of Banca del Gottardo.
BSI Bank specialises in asset management and related services for private clients and had been using 4SF for its Securities Finance business for a number of years.
Banca del Gottardo was using software supplied by a Swiss technology provider, and a detailed comparison of the two systems was undertaken to determine which provided the most effective solution for the merged bank.
Following the review 4sight Securities Finance was selected as the preferred system and the data migrated from Gottardo's solution to support the clients taken on by BSI. An upgrade was also carried out to the latest version of 4SF.
