Finantix, a global provider of component-based front-office solutions, has announced the opening of an office in Miami with the goal of supporting growing activities in North, Central and South America.
Alessandro Tonchia, strategy director, Finantix, comments: "We feel that our wealth management and financial planning offering is very relevant to the North American market. Given the current climate, the ability to provide clients with holistic, long-term advice and to track progress towards their financial goals fits a burning need. We have been providing this functionality to financial institutions worldwide for more than 10 years."
The office is headed by Enrique O'Reilly, who has more that 15 years experience in the financial software sector. He comments: "We also see tremendous opportunity in Latin America. Our advisory solutions allow banks to address the growing mass-affluent market. Additionally, we support sales and service processes in other retail areas of lending, pension plans, insurance and other banking products."
He is joined by Candyce Cohen, who brings an impressive track record in wealth management. She will be based in New York and will focus on the Finantix offering for both the high net worth and mass-affluent segments.
The Finantix component-based solutions drive revenue and cross-selling opportunities through a client-centric, advice-led and process-oriented approach in the areas of wealth management, financial planning, branch innovation, lending, insurance and CRM.
The technology architecture provides robustness and flexibility by leveraging standards such as BPM, SOA, MDA and J2EE.
Financial institutions are able to easily configure their businesses functions and processes to match different strategies and segments of customers, and to meet regulatory and market-driven changes, quickly supporting new sales and customer service channels.
