"Peoples State Bank is a community-focused organization with multiple locations. We selected IntelAccount to process our accounts payable and expense reports because of the benefits delivered by IntelAccount: improved controls, productivity and security while helping us control our related costs. Using IntelAccount's services we can focus more resources on client service and have access to Web-based technology and expert staff without the ongoing investment of building and managing these systems and processes internally," Leif Christianson, CIO for Peoples State Bank, said. "In addition, we'll eliminate paper related to the accounts payable process, going 'green' to support the environment and that fits nicely with the philosophy of our organization."

IntelAccount handles the accounts payable process from receipt of documents through payment and online document storage -- including Web-based approval routing and management reporting -- even preparing 1099 forms. A process that used to take days or weeks to approve and pay an invoice now takes minutes.

"Many banks are using IntelAccount's services to save money and improve process controls and employee productivity. In fact, most of our bank clients refer our services to their commercial clients resulting in a new revenue source for the bank," David Crane, CEO of IntelAccount, said. "IntelAccount's services are tailored for small businesses to obtain cost savings up to 70 percent. In this tough economy, all businesses want to reduce costs without sacrificing control or service."
