Storebrand Bank ASA has extended and expanded its agreement with EDB Business Partner ASA for the delivery of payment services and bank operating solutions to the bank.
The agreement runs to January 2014, and represents total contract value of around NOK 100 million.
EDB currently delivers solutions for payment services and software services, together with IT operating services, to Storebrand Bank. The new contract extends the existing agreement by three years, and paves the way for delivering a broader range of services.
"We are very pleased with the quality of the services that EDB currently provides, and therefore wish to extend our collaboration", comments Klaus Anders Nysteen, Managing Director of Storebrand Bank. "We set high standards for the services we deliver to our customers. This agreement ensures that we have access to forward-looking and efficient tools for our business processes, which in addition to our expertise are essential for our continuing growth in the Norwegian banking market", he adds.
"It is very pleasing that Storebrand Bank has chosen to extend the current agreement. This serves to confirm that EDB's solutions are competitive, and that they meet the needs of a modern bank for user-friendliness and efficiency", comments Wiljar Nesse, Executive Vice President - Bank & Finance at EDB.
