Steria, the European IT-enabled business services company, today announced the appointment of David Cotterill as Marketing Director.
Reporting directly into UK and India CEO, John Torrie, David is responsible for marketing and communication in the UK.
With over 22 years' experience in IT marketing, sales and business development David has managed brand campaigns, business analyst and press relations as well as proposition development for several leading technology companies including Cambridge Technology Partners, Compaq and Canadian IT services firm, CGI. Prior to joining Steria, David was European Marketing Director at global IT and BPO services provider, Cognizant.
John Torrie, Steria CEO, said "David's wealth of marketing experience in IT services, business process outsourcing and consulting made him an ideal candidate for the role. The passion and knowledge he brings will be a vital addition to our marketing team as we look to strengthen Steria's brand awareness and understanding in the UK market and beyond."

David holds a degree in Product Development and Design, a Masters Degrees in Computer Aided Engineering and is an active member of the ITSMA (IT Sales and Marketing Association, IoD (Institute of Directors) and Nasscom, Indian National Association of Software Companies. David is also a trustee of a number of charities.
