Alphacet adds Roger Ehrenberg to the board

Alphacet, a developer of innovative software solutions for quantitative analysts, portfolio managers and traders, today announced that it has appointed financial expert Roger Ehrenberg to its Board of Directors.

Roger is the managing partner of IA Capital Partners LLC, an early-stage investment firm focused on innovative companies in digital media and financial technology. He also is the founder of Kinetic Trading Strategies, LLC, a boutique trading firm that develops alpha-generating models for top quantitative hedge funds and proprietary trading desks.

Prior to founding IA Capital, Roger served as president and chief executive officer of DB Advisors, LLC, Deutsche Bank's internal hedge fund trading platform. His 130-person team managed $6 billion in capital across multiple strategies. Earlier, Roger was global co-head of Deutsche Bank's Strategic Equity Transactions Group.

Additionally, Roger is the author of the financial blog Information Arbitrage, which was recently named one of the "Top 25 Financial Blogs" by 24/7 Wall Street. He is frequently consulted as a financial expert, and has appeared in numerous media outlets including Bloomberg, CNBC, Financial Times, Reuters, Wall Street Journal and more.

Roger holds an MBA in Finance, Accounting and Management from Columbia Business School, and a BBA in Finance, Economics and Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan.
