Nyse Technologies, the industry leading trading technology experts and commercial technology unit of Nyse Euronext, today announced an agreement with Société Générale for its market data cost management software and services, Data Access and Reporting Tools (DART) Usage Analysis for Bloomberg terminals.

NYSE Technologies' managed service offering provides comprehensive business-focused reports that allow Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking to reduce its market data costs and minimize the administrative overhead for its market data operations. Reducing costs is crucial in today's economic environment and DART Usage Analysis provides the tools to identify unused and under-used exchanges and specialist services. DART Usage Analysis also provides visibility on how a vendor subscription is actually being used, for instance whether the terminal is used mostly for simple quotes, news stories, graphics, more value-added analytics or electronic trading.

"DART Usage Analysis is an innovative solution that allows firms to better control their market data costs," said Steve Cowler, Managing Director, Global Market Data at NYSE Technologies. "Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking joins a growing list of over 30 of the world's top financial institutions employing the DART Usage Analysis suite; a well defined, robust product portfolio with superior functionality."

Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking already uses NYSE Technologies' DART Usage Analysis for Reuters globally, and with the addition of its Bloomberg terminals flavor, the company has industry-leading solutions to effectively manage its costs for two of the world's largest market data vendors.
