IFDS, the international transfer agency and hosted Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) joint venture between State Street Corporation and DST Systems, Inc., announced today they have launched the IM Thoroughbred Core Alpha Fund on behalf of Atkinson Bolton Consulting.
The launch of the IM Thoroughbred Core Alpha Fund for Atkinson Bolton marks another new client for IFDS Managers' hosted ACD service, which has been designed to support both new entrants to the market, as well as existing established fund ranges. By launching with IFDS, Atkinson Bolton gains access to the market leading administration services and technology platforms that IFDS provides, along with the specialist fund accounting and custody services of State Street.
Simon Gibson, Director of Atkinson Bolton Consulting commented: "We are of course delighted to have launched our first fund, but especially so in conjunction with IFDS Managers, with whom we now have a key business relationship. As soon as we came across IFDS Managers in our research and planning for this new venture we knew we would work with them. We have serious ambitions not just for this first fund but for future funds, and we want to have a relationship with someone who understands that, who we believe shares our corporate ethos, and who can assist us in those ambitions. IFDS Managers fit the bill."
Matthew Brown, Business Development Director of IFDS commented: "Our hosted ACD service continues to grow and develop with new clients and we are delighted that Atkinson Bolton has selected IFDS Managers to support their proposition. We at IFDS Managers look forward to providing our high levels of service to support their first fund and look forward to working with them going forward."
