Bethpage Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution committed to providing its members with extraordinary value and service, anytime, anywhere. Headquartered on Long Island in Bethpage, N.Y., it has assets of over $3 billion with a broad membership base of more than 140,000 members nationwide.

Bethpage invested in Impact 360 for Retail Financial Services to help improve operational efficiencies and member service across its 19 branches. The workforce management solution, specifically designed for branch environments, helps banks and credit unions accurately forecast customer demand and transaction volumes, optimise staff schedules against forecasts, and conduct "what if" scenarios to test staffing options to deliver better service cost effectively. Leveraging the solution's strategic planning capabilities further assists banks and credit unions in determining their optimal branch staff mix of full-time, part-time and peak-time employees, as well as helps predict future staffing requirements based on trends, historical data and projected market growth.

"Verint's Impact 360 for Retail Finance Services' workforce management solution includes all the components we need to determine the staffing mix and resource requirements necessary to continue delivering high level, quality member service," says Bob Hoppenstedt, senior vice president, member services, Bethpage Federal Credit Union. "The productivity reporting is extensive and will help enable us to better understand how our employees interact with members and where there are opportunities to improve service."

"In the current environment of tightening expenses, the Impact 360 for Retail Financial Services solution is one of the few in the market that is proven to provide a strong return on investment for businesses and a positive impact on customer experiences," adds Darryl Demos, senior vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Solutions Group within Verint Witness Actionable Solutions.

More than 65 banks and credit unions around the globe currently use Impact 360 for Retail Financial Services to help optimise resources across their branch operations. That includes eight of the top 10 US banks, four of the top five Canadian banks, and three of the top five Australian banks.
