SunGard adds FT Interactive Data fair value service to Invest One

SunGard Investment Management Systems, an operating group of SunGard (NYSE: SDS); and FT Interactive Data, the major operating subsidiary of Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC), today announced that SunGard's INVEST ONE, a leading investment accounting solution, now offers an interface to FT Interactive Data's Fair Value Information Service.

The Fair Value Information Service will help INVEST ONE to support the fair valuation requirements of many of its mutual fund customers.

FT Interactive Data's Fair Value Information Service is designed to provide a tool that can assist U.S. mutual fund companies in meeting their legal fair value obligations, while also reassuring investors their mutual fund company is doing everything possible to safeguard shareholder interests. One of the industry's most trusted multi-currency investment accounting and reporting solutions, INVEST ONE is an accounting general ledger and reporting system used by asset managers and third party fund administrators the world over. Available on an installed or hosted basis, INVEST ONE helps customers to gain processing efficiencies while eliminating the costs, complexity, and risks associated with error-prone manual accounting and reporting methods.
