RCS Cards, a member of the Foschini Group, has signed a CredITMentor software services contract with PIC Solutions.

RCS Cards is a financial services company providing retail financing to customers in the South African market. The organisation offers credit to niche markets and has 6 leading brands, including RCS Auto, RCS Credit, RCS Fashion, RCS Health, RCS Home and RCS Leisure. RCS Cards has more than 4 500 participating merchants and serves over 150 000 active customers.

In a highly competitive marketplace, RCS Cards are constantly driven to innovate and improve their product offering to ensure they remain at the forefront of retail credit. Under this CredITMentor contract PIC Personnel will assist RCS Cards with a number of ICT projects.

The flexibility of the CredITMentor contract will enable RCS Cards to 'reserve' a specified number of support hours over a twelve months period. During this period they can make use of the PIC Solutions software services personnel, as and when they are most required. This allows for maximum flexibility of specialist resources, combined with fixed monthly budgeting.

Regan Adams, Risk and Operations Executive at RCS comments, "RCS is focused on maintaining a competitive edge in the retail industry. PIC Solutions personnel have worked with our organisation for a number of years, and they have gained an intimate understanding of our company's goals, dynamics and systems. This CredITMentor contract offers us the flexibility of their technical support and skills on an 'as and when we need it' basis."

Mike Crawley, Director of Software Services at PIC Solutions adds, "PIC Solutions has been involved with RCS on a number of projects and we are delighted to expand this relationship through a CredITMentor contract. The CredITMentor contract offers RCS the security of knowing that specialist skills are close at hand when they are needed most."
