ACI adds Cryptomathic EMV data system to Smart Chip Manager

ACI Worldwide, a leading international provider of enterprise e-payment solutions has integrated Cryptomathic's CardInk with ACI Smart Chip Manager to produce smart card EMV issuing solutions to help customers meet 2005 MasterCard and Visa mandates.
The resulting solution will support smart card issuance, life-cycle management and data preparation and allow cards to be issued across a variety of applications, smart card platforms, card products and risk profiles. The ACI solution offers in this way maximum flexibility to satisfy the requirements of both high-end and low-end programs.

ACI Smart Chip Manager for Card and Application Management is a complete smart card issuance and management system featuring a powerful, rules-driven engine that allows seamless configuration of new issuers, applications, card products and related workflows. In addition, Smart Chip Manager offers an evolutionary path from a single-application card product to a comprehensive portfolio with advanced multi-application card products leveraging ACI's unique EMV risk management systems and smart card personalization systems.
Cryptomathic CardInk is a second generation EMV data preparation system for single and multiple application cards. CardInk ensures secure data generation and key management based on banks' record files. CardInk complies with the EMV standard and supports many applications and platforms including VSDC, M/Chip, Moneo, Magnetic Stripe, MULTOS, and GlobalPlatform.
