The Bank of New York, a global leader in securities servicing, has launched commercial paper trading capabilities through its premier short-term investing website, MoneyFundsDIRECT.com.

This new capability provides institutional investors with a direct link to a broad selection of commercial paper programs through a single source and expands on an extensive list of short-term investments, including well-known money market funds.

Joseph M. Velli, senior executive vice president at The Bank of New York, said, "The addition of commercial paper trading through MoneyFundsDIRECT.com makes it easier and more convenient for our institutional clients to have a single point of contact for their short-term investment needs. Investors can initiate trades and have access to investment information in a secure, online environment."

MoneyFundsDIRECT.com is the interactive web-based solution for Money Funds DIRECT, the Bank’s unique global liquidity program. Since 1997, Money Funds DIRECT has provided integrated, short-term investment services that meet the particular investment and liquidity objectives of institutional investors through The Bank of New York as a single point of contact.
