Trillium Software, a business of Harte-Hanks (NYSE:HHS) and a leading enabler of Total Data Quality solutions, has appointed Stephen Bailey as director of financial services strategies, leveraging his twenty five years of expertise and knowledge of the financial and high technology consulting industries to help advance the company's financial services information quality solution set.

Mr. Bailey will provide new thought-leadership and direction for the life-cycle of Trillium Software's financial services offerings, and will identify and oversee key opportunities to quickly address customer needs and drive implementations.

"Steve Bailey brings a rather unique mix of high technology and financial services consulting experience to our customers, and we are excited about offering his expertise to help address their financial information quality challenges," said John Nicoli, managing director at Trillium Software. "Steve and our business development teams intimately understand financial information data quality problems and will be an important resource for customers in these challenging economic times. He has already positively impacted our organization by immediately working with customers to help strategize on the most practical, results-oriented ways to ensure they achieve their data quality goals."

"I'm excited to join Trillium Software because so many financial services organizations and investment firms can greatly benefit from improved financial data quality. Our technology and consulting products such as our new Data Intelligence & Governance(TM) (DIG) solution can immediately help these organizations address their data quality shortcomings," said Mr. Bailey. "I hope our customers gain a lot of value from my many past experiences and knowledge of data management and financial data information, as well as the many realistic and cost-effective ways to better manage this data to improve operational efficiency for all business processes."

Bailey's responsibilities include overseeing the development of a robust financial services solution set while working with development, consulting and management teams to identify new customer opportunities. He is to provide practical guidance, strategies and tactics for solving customers' most complex financial information/data quality problems.

Prior to joining Trillium Software, Bailey served as vice president of Edgewater Technology's Financial Services Practice, playing a senior role in the consulting arm of the organization. He also was the engineering supervisor for the Financial Systems Engineering Group at Digital Equipment Corporation, and worked at the Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Company as an analytical research software designer and developer. Mr. Bailey has written thought pieces, been quoted in financial services trade publications, and has spoken at securities conferences around the country. He has a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College and a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business from Fairfield University.
