Monitise makes board changes

Monitise plc ('Monitise'; LSE: MONI.L), the mobile money people, announces two Board changes with immediate effect.

Duncan McIntyre, previously Executive Chairman, will become Non-Executive Chairman of the Board. Having overseen Monitise's separation from Morse in June 2007 and subsequent Admission and Placing on AIM, followed by a successful fund raising in July 2008, as Non-Executive Chairman Duncan will continue to provide guidance and support to Alastair Lukies (CEO) and the executive team.

Lee Cameron has been appointed to the Board as an executive director. Lee (37) joined the company in 2006 as General Counsel and has been responsible for the legal, corporate development, human resources and compliance areas of the business. In addition, he represents Monitise's interests on the Board of its joint venture with VocaLink, MONILINK Limited, the operator of the UK mobile banking and payments platform and is responsible for the protection and prosecution of the group's intellectual property portfolio. Lee is a qualified solicitor and prior to joining Monitise he was General Counsel and Company Secretary of Morse plc from 1998.
