Datacard Group, the world leader in secure ID and card personalization solutions, today announced that Kurt Ishaug has been named chief financial officer.
Ishaug has provided interim leadership in this role since June 2008 when then Chief Financial and Administrative Officer Todd G. Wilkinson was named president and CEO. As CFO, Ishaug is responsible for all of the company's financial functions.
"Kurt is a seasoned leader. He has already demonstrated the clear and consistent leadership needed to drive continued growth and profitability for our business," said Wilkinson. Ishaug joined Datacard Group in 2006 as vice president of planning and analysis, a role in which he was responsible for all global business planning and analytics.
Prior to joining Datacard Group, Ishaug held financial leadership positions with GE Commercial Finance. There he most recently led the global planning and analysis function. Ishaug started his career with the Public Accounting firm of Grant Thornton where he spent eight years.
A native of Minnesota, Ishaug holds a master of business taxation degree from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Business and a bachelor degree in accounting from North Dakota State University.
