Refco to connect to EasyXchange in the US

EasyScreen Plc ('EasyScreen', 'the Company') is pleased to announce that Refco LLC ('Refco') has signed a contract for connection to EasyXchange in the U.S. This connection will be made to the EasyXchange hosted ASP platform in Chicago and is expected to be completed in the next month.

As a result of this connection Refco will be able to offer clearing services to EasyXchange connected customers trading derivatives on major global markets -EuronextLiffe, Eurex, CME, CBOT, Eurex U.S. and Montreal.

EasyScreen will receive implementation and maintenance fees. In addition, the presence of Refco on EasyXchange is expected to attract screen sales from customers requiring multi-clearer, multi-asset class connectivity.

Refco is one of the world's largest clearers of derivatives and a major broker of cash products and Foreign Exchange in 14 countries, with an extensive institutional and retail client base.
