Finanz Informatik GmbH & Co. KG, IT provider of the German Savings Banks has extended its SimCorp Dimension license agreement into Northern and Eastern Germany.

Finanz Informatik is the result of the merger between FinanzIT and Sparkassen Informatik. SimCorp Dimension will now be available for the portfolio management of all German Savings Banks.

The former Sparkassen Informatik - now Finanz Informatik - chose SimCorp Dimension in 2004 providing an ASP solution for market risk management within portfolio management. In 2006 the agreement was extended to also include the rights to use the existing ASP solution for Bavarian savings banks.

"SimCorp Dimension has proved its worth at our savings banks", says Will Bär, Managing Director at Finanz Informatik. "With SimCorp Dimension we can offer our savings banks a modern and future proof solution - particularly within the important area of risk management".

"We are pleased to continue our successful cooperation with Finanz Informatik", stresses Senior Vice President Dr. Jochen Müller at SimCorp GmbH.
