StatPro upgrades client services portal to SaaS platform

StatPro Group, a leading provider of portfolio analytics and data solutions for the global asset management industry, today announced an upgrade of the company's 'StatPro Direct' client services portal to a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.

StatPro Direct was initially a client services platform, allowing clients to access support features and information on the applications they were using. It has now been redesigned and enhanced to include hosted applications that can be accessed from within the StatPro website at statpro.com.

"From a purely technical level, the new SaaS platform offers our clients the choice of hosted hardware implementations and failover options that meet their business requirements for their applications. Improved uptime, application performance, security, live monitoring, backup and failover features are now available for the entire StatPro suite within the new SaaS platform," said Chief Technology Officer Neil Smyth. He went on to add: "One of the applications within StatPro Direct is brand new - a complex asset pricing service that is entirely pure-play SaaS."

StatPro recently enhanced the platform to allow prospects both granular and temporary access to specific parts of the site, so as to give a flavour of the products and services available.

"We have a number of existing clients live in both North America and Europe," said Justin Wheatley, CEO at StatPro. "We are now in a position to launch StatPro Direct to an even wider audience, showing that not only do we have an online client services platform, but we have a web application platform ready for our SaaS initiatives," he added.
