Mastercard Europe has extended its "Working in Europe with a Small Business Card" programme, which rewards Mastercard clients with BitDefender security software, from Belgium to Spain, Italy, Hungary and Poland, with plans to move into other European countries very soon.
Mastercard chose to work with BitDefender on this project to offer their clients a valuable reward. "Small businesses value benefits from their service providers, and BitDefender can add immediate security payoffs to any business," states Tuuli Perkio, head of small business products, Corporate Payment Solutions, Mastercard Europe.
BitDefender provides a global shield for data, networks and systems through email and file server protection in terms of antivirus and antispam products. BitDefender solutions have been the first to offer parental control and confidentiality management through personal firewalls. Advanced research and development at BitDefender allowed the company to be the first in the world to detect a Pocket PC virus in June 2004.
Security products such as BitDefender can greatly decrease and eliminate costs incurred when a company is forced to repair a system harmed by viruses or plagued with spam. Mastercard small business card holders will improve the efficiency of their businesses through BitDefender.
