Jware Technologies, a leading provider of solutions for innovative and service-oriented card processing management, and Aconite, a leading provider of smart payment software solutions and consulting services, today announced a partnership to provide integrated, turn-key solutions for the issuance and management of EMV and prepaid card programmes.

Under the partnership, the two companies will make available fully packaged and integrated solutions for EMV and prepaid card issuers. Jware Technologies will provide their turn-key LPay frontend and backend card solution, including Authorisations, Fraud Detection, Clearing, Online Prepaid Management, Security and Card Management System modules. Aconite will provide their EMV migration, post-issuance scripting, risk management, prepaid and contactless solutions as well as their Affina Enterprise smart product management solution.

"Our combined package of solutions for EMV and prepaid cards will help to address many of the challenges card issuers face such as the rapid, low-cost implementation of the EMV standard and new business applications post EMV, while at the same time maintaining investment made in legacy systems and business processes", said Patrick Regester, EVP Sales and Marketing at Aconite. "With our common payments and smart cards expertise, we can respond to the high demand for solutions that enable issuers to rapidly deploy and manage new services".

Gérard Compain, CEO of Jware Technologies, said: "The potential benefits of using innovative smart card solutions are enormous. The advantage of this partnership is that issuers are provided with a one-stop approach which facilitates the rapid and economical launch of new programmes in this fast growing and attractive market segment for banks and private label card issuers."
