Sword Apak appoints James Powell international sales director

James rejoins Sword Apak after spending two years working for Fimasys, a provider of financial services management software.

Commenting on the appointment, Business Unit Director for Sword Apak, Tony Allen said: "With over thirteen years' experience of selling and implementing wholesale finance systems, James is welcomed back as a leading business specialist in Floorplanning technology. His in-depth knowledge of delivering and supporting customers' software requirements for stocking finance gives Sword Apak an excellent platform to build our global business aspirations upon".

James will be responsible for formulating and implementing an international sales strategy for Sword Apak's products and services.

On his decision to rejoin Sword Apak, James commented: "My appointment comes at a significant point in the company's history, now that it has become a subsidiary of the Sword Group. Following last year's acquisition, Sword Apak today has access to an international infrastructure of offices and hosting facilities, providing financial institutions with a local presence as well as flexible on demand and in-house delivery options to support their world-wide funding operations". Powell added: "Combined with Sword Apak's expertise and 30 years' experience of supplying wholesale finance systems, this puts us in the enviable position of being able to provide an unrivalled product and service package for the global asset-based finance industry".
