Trading Technologies International (TT) today announced that TT's X_TRADER derivatives trading platform is now connected to Spain's MEFF (Mercado Español de Futuros Financieros) exchange.
TT customers can trade a broad array of futures and options products listed on MEFF, including:
- IBEX 35 Equity Index Futures
- IBEX 35 Mini Futures and Options
- Single Stock Futures and Options

Fernando Centelles, MEFF's CEO, said, "TT's connection MEFF will provide MEFF's members and large international investment groups interested in trading on the Spanish derivatives market with increased technological standardization and efficiency for the global market."
MEFF reported trading of 6.5 million contracts in October 2008, up 50 percent from October 2007. The exchange's trading volume for the first ten months of 2008 totaled 68.1 million contracts, up 75% from the same period in 2007.
With the launch of its MEFF gateway, TT now offers connectivity to 23 markets in North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia/Pacific region. TT customers can choose to host gateways internally or outsource connectivity to TTNETTM, TT's fully managed hosting solution.
