Coral8, a leading provider of Complex Event Processing (CEP) software, today announced that it has increased its investment in the financial services vertical and its commitment to customers in the industry by launching a dedicated financial services group.
This dedicated group will be led by two new executives: Colin Clark as executive vice president of financial services and Michael DiStefano as vice president of architecture for financial services.
Clark and DiStefano each bring more than 20 years of experience in financial services and technology to Coral8. Clark is responsible for sales and services for Coral8's growing financial services customer base. DiStefano will be advancing mission-critical CEP systems throughout the front, middle, and back offices of banks and brokerage firms. Leveraging their expertise, Coral8 is well positioned to support the business initiatives of capital markets customers. By significantly increasing its investment in financial services, Coral8 eases customers' pressure to compete in today's volatile markets by bringing real time, continuous intelligence on markets and transactions to help traders and asset managers maximize profit and mitigate risk. Coral8's financial services group provides hands-on technical support to existing and potential customers, enabling them to optimize Coral8's leading CEP platform for solving their most complex business challenges.
"Seeing the financial services industry and our customers go through this extremely challenging period, now is the time for us to expand our investment and commitment," said Terry Cunningham, CEO of Coral8. "Colin and Michael have the right DNA to lead this new group. Through close collaboration with our customers, we will help them succeed while also securing valuable feedback that will help us refine Coral8 technology for this strategic market."
Coral8's Clark and DiStefano will be joining executives from Real-Time Innovations (RTI) at the FIA Futures & Options Expo in Chicago for a demonstration of Market Analysis, a joint solution that combines RTI's messaging middleware and Coral8's Continuous IntelligenceTM to capitalize on volatility. Please visit them at booth #520.
