Calyon, the corporate and investment banking subsidiary of Crédit Agricole, and one of Europe's top-ranking banks, has gone live with 4sight's front to back office Securities Finance software for its global securities borrowing & lending operations.

The software provides Calyon with a solution for its North American, European and Asia Pacific Equity Finance desks and adds another major global name to the list of 4sight's recent new client wins. The project included the installation of the 4sight Xpose module for collateral optimisation and 4sight's recently released Cash Netting module.

"We were very happy with the implementation project and are greatly looking forward to the benefits the system will generate across our business", comments Monique Veillerobe, Global Head of Equity Finance at Calyon. "4sight Securities Finance will provide us with a scalable solution to maximise our diverse Securities Financing operations and assist us in making the most effective use of our global positions."

Luc Papadopoulos, Calyon's project manager comments: "A large part of the program success was attributable to the skills and involvement of 4sight's project manager and following the go live Calyon expects to continue to maintain a close ongoing relationship with 4sight."

"This client go live adds to the list of major financial institutions selecting 4sight as a preferred technology partner," says Judith McKelvey, 4sight Sales Director. "The functionality we have developed specifically for each of the North American, European and Asia Pacific markets is now enabling us to offer a truly global solution for Securities Finance."
