Kabira Technologies (Kabira), a leader in high performance transaction processing software for global enterprises, today announced that it has signed an agreement with The Interface Company (TIC), an Omaha-based specialist in ePayment systems, enabling Kabira and its strategic partners to resell TIC's interface definition and management solution Net-Gen software.
Developing new high-speed interfaces for payment networks, along with managing industry mandates, is a critical objective for corporations serving the payments industry. By working with TIC and Kabira's Professional Services organization, customers and partners will be able to leverage Net-Gen at their front-end to accelerate the development and testing of new payment interfaces. TIC has also developed a roadmap for future Kabira interfaces to be developed and supported completely within Net-Gen.
"Addressing the needs of rapidly developing customer-specific channels has been a constant challenge for the payments industry, for both acquiring and issuing institutions," said Chris Clabaugh, vice president of business development at Kabira Technologies. "With Net-Gen, our customers and partners gain the advantages of a well-designed, intuitive, graphical user interface as well as underlying technology obtained from TIC's extensive experience designing and deploying payments solutions around the globe. Now, Kabira Payments(TM) software customers can control their own destiny and make essential updates to their network interfaces without needing to wait for development teams to generate new code."
Steven Ertzner, The Interface Company president, said, "The entire industry has been searching for a viable alternative payments platform for years. We believe that Kabira's platform has been proven in some of the most demanding payments environments worldwide, and is especially compelling for acquiring institutions. Adding Net-Gen to Kabira's product offering allows our customers to get their systems certified and running much faster. In addition, customers can support their existing and new lines of business far more rapidly using Net-Gen."
Net-Gen is designed as an integrated environment, written entirely in the Java language with a mySQL database. As currently deployed, Net-Gen provides a clean, well-ordered window into all the messages, fields, processing rules, and data types for even the most complex payments networks. This allows current feature to be clearly defined and documented. Moreover, both mandatory and optional updates as well as mandate support can be rapidly defined, tested, and implemented by payments business analysts or programmers. The new software is available immediately from both Kabira and The Interface Company, and can be delivered as a licensed product or a managed service provided by TIC.
