Omgeo, the global standard for post-trade efficiency, has added Paula Sausville Arthus, managing director, relationship management for The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), to its board of managers.

Ms. Arthus replaces Michael C. Bodson of DTCC, who has retired his Omgeo board position.

In her role at DTCC, Ms. Arthus leads a group of relationship managers who are responsible for the overall relationships with DTCC's clients in equities and fixed income clearance and settlement, asset services and wealth management services businesses. The team is also responsible for developing relationships with global market participants and supports business development efforts outside of the US. This customer base includes banks, broker/dealers, mutual fund companies and international central securities depositories.

"We are grateful for the contributions of Mike Bodson over the past year on Omgeo's board," said Richard R. Macek, chairman of the Omgeo board of managers. "I am thrilled to welcome another star from DTCC. Paula is a proven leader and her insight into our clients' post-trade environments is of tremendous value to Omgeo and the industry as a whole."

"Paula's relentless focus on the client is the kind of perspective we highly regard and find integral to our overall business strategy," said Marianne C. Brown, president and CEO of Omgeo. "She will be a true asset to our leadership and her guidance will be essential as we continue to provide operational stability, reduced risk and improved efficiency across our community."

"I look forward to leveraging my background and expertise in technology, product management and relationship management as I join the board of managers at Omgeo," commented Arthus. "Today it is critical to balance between reacting to client pain-points and anticipating the needs that may arise within their operational infrastructures. I am excited to work with my fellow board members, who are such a solid group of industry leaders, as we guide Omgeo in its strategic business decisions and client-focused solutions."

Prior to joining DTCC, Ms. Arthus had been with JPMorgan Chase, where her career spanned more than 25 years in technology and product management at both the managerial and executive levels in and around the securities processing and custody businesses. She was the Global Technology Executive for Investor Services from 1995 to 2001 and led the Asset Manager Solutions Group from 2001 to 2005. Ms. Arthus is a member of DTCC's Business Planning Committee, Strategy Council and Diversity Council, and acts as the senior relationship officer for the firm. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics, with minors in computer science and business administration.
