Eze Castle Software names Lafferty head of sales, Western US and Canada

BNY ConvergEx Group, a leading provider of global agency brokerage and investment technology solutions, announced today that Eze Castle Software has appointed Ralph Lafferty as Head of Sales for the Western United States and Canada.

Mr. Lafferty will be based in San Francisco with responsibility for sales of Eze Castle's award-winning order management system, the Eze OMS.

In his new role, Mr. Lafferty will focus on the expansion of Eze Castle's client base in Canada while continuing the growth already taking place in the Western US. Previously, Mr. Lafferty covered Institutional Sales for Eze Castle in New York. He has over nine years of buy-side experience, including execution, systems and operations consulting for hedge funds, asset managers, and private equity firms. He has also held leadership roles in risk management and systems development, as well as research, equities, and derivatives trading.

This move accompanies record-breaking sales of the Eze OMS. In 2008, Eze Castle added nine new accounts in the Western US, resulting in a total of sixty-four new accounts across the globe, including the UK, US, Japan, Hong Kong, and Brazil, already surpassing their 2007 record of sixty-two total new clients for all of last year.
