Integrated Media Management (IMM), a document output management and automation technology provider, announced that Columbus, Ga.-based TIC Federal Credit Union has implemented its TotaleAtlas and TotaleReceipts products to maximize the productivity of its seven dialogue branches.

The dialogue branches provide a one-stop-shop for members with the use of in-lobby remote teller stations, cash dispensing machine pods, Internet banking kiosks and touch screen information stations, all of which help eliminate the compartmentalized setup of traditional credit unions. Branches are termed "dialogue branches" as employees have beginning to end interaction with members. This combined with the automation provided by the in-lobby technology reduces long lines and enhances customer service.

"TotaleAtlas and TotaleReceipts are very important to support the dialogue environment, and it would not be as easy or as clean to operate without these solutions," said Doug Putnam, EVP of TIC Federal Credit Union. David McCormack, TIC's IT manager, continued, "Working with TIC's own information management system, TotaleAtlas and TotaleReceipts allow our staff to complete all documents electronically at each station, and then archive them immediately for future access by any employee."

TIC FCU saw IMM's technology as a more efficient way to manage information, as well as a solution for eliminating paper and creating more time for employees to concentrate on serving members. The credit union has implemented TotaleAtlas, a document preparation engine that electronically captures signatures in-branch and creates a secure and non-editable PDF of the document with the signature embedded; and TotaleReceipts, which eliminates the need for pre-printed paper receipts by automating the output of teller transaction receipts. Both TotaleAtlas and TotaleReceipts eliminate the manual scanning and indexing or filing and retrieving of documents.

Putnam explained, "Before integrating with IMM technology, the front-end work and time we devoted to printing and scanning, sorting and then archiving data took away from our ability to best serve our members. In automating these processes, members can perform quick and easy transactions and enjoy improved relations with our employees."

"TIC FCU's dialogue branches have found success in leveraging IMM solutions because of reduced operational costs and electronic streamlining of traditionally paper-based processes," said Chuck Klein, CEO of Integrated Media Management. "TotaleAtlas and TotaleReceipts work together to enhance the digital environment of these branches, creating an electronic process that better serves both the credit union and its members."
