As an executive member of the Board, Imperato will have shared responsibility for the overall running and strategic direction of the company. In particular, he will establish and maintain internal processes and will head up the team responsible for professional services, service support, testing and documentation.

Imperato brings 15 years of enterprise IT experience, mainly within the financial services sector, to Trayport. His professional services experience spanned ten years at Accenture and a more recent spell at ThoughtWorks where he also held an operations leadership role, introducing new processes and best practices to improve effectiveness throughout the global software delivery consultancy.

This wealth of experience comes at an important time for Trayport. Following the company’s continued growth and expansion into new markets, Imperato will be the champion of Trayport’s professional and customer service units. He will help ensure Trayport’s internal processes support the company’s significant growth so that it can continue to offer the very best customer support.

Edmund Hor, Managing Director at Trayport, said: "We are extremely pleased to have Michael onboard. He will help us to uphold our high standards in quality and service as well as enable us to continue our expansion into financial markets."
