TSYS Europe has appointed Julius Schauerhuber, a veteran of the European payments industry, as Director of Business Expansion for Austria and Central Eastern Europe. He will be based in Vienna, Austria.
During his 30-year career, Mr. Schauerhuber has held several top-level management positions for companies in Austria, most recently serving as managing director of Qualysoft Austria, a software development and business process management specialist in Central Europe.

"Mr. Schauerhuber brings valuable experience in this region, and he understands the emphasis we place on developing meaningful, long-term client relationships in our business."
Key points in the career of Mr. Schauerhuber include Managing Director, First Data Austria [FDI] (formerly APSS); SVP of Organisation & IT, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Austria; and Managing Director, Raiffeisen Informatics Service Abroad.
A native Austrian, Mr. Schauerhuber resides in Vienna. He has studied economics, mechanical engineering and aeromechanics. Mr. Schauerhuber has an established network in the pan-European IT, financial and payments industries.
