Prepay customers of the Vodafone, Orange, O2, Virgin, TESCO and T-mobile networks can now top up their airtime at 4,000 LloydsTSB cash machines, giving a total of over 16,000 ATMs currently offering the service. Lloyds joins the Royal Bank of Scotland, Natwest, the Co-operative Bank, Allied Irish Bank and Creation Financial Services in offering this service to their cardholders.

Pre-pay users can now top up at participating ATMs belonging to LloydsTSB, Royal Bank of Scotland, Natwest, Tesco Personal Finance, Co-operative Bank, Allied Irish Bank, as well as independent ATM deployers Moneybox, TRM and Cardpoint.

"Every month, more consumers are using the convenience of the LINK ATM network to add airtime, 24 hours a day," said Steve Smith, Director of Relationship Management at LINK. "With further banks, building societies and other ATM deployers set to join the top up service in the very near future, consumer up-take of the service will continue to increase rapidly across the UK.”
