Algorithmics Incorporated, a world leader in enterprise risk management solutions, today announced that it will integrate enterprise reporting products from Business Objects (Nasdaq: BOBJ; Euronext Paris ISIN code FR0004026250) into Algo Suite, the company's flagship suite of enterprise risk solutions.

Business Objects software integrates seamlessly within Algorithmics' open and extensible reporting framework, and complements existing reporting and end-user applications to deliver accurate and timely financial intelligence information throughout the enterprise.

"Business Objects sets the standard for enterprise reporting solutions," said Michael Zerbs, Algorithmics' Chief Operating Officer. "This new relationship enables us to respond directly to client requirements and their overall information strategy. Business Objects provides our customers with easy-to-use reporting, ad-hoc risk analysis, as well as performance management capabilities that maximize the benefits of Algo Suite."

"Enterprise reporting is a key component of a successful risk management solution," remarked Andy Hirst, director of worldwide financial services marketing at Business Objects. "Algorithmics is an innovator and thought-leader in enterprise risk management. The integration of our reporting functionality into Algo Suite will provide Algorithmics' clients with a powerful solution that delivers added value to managers throughout the company."

Algo Suite is the first and only scalable enterprise suite of risk management solutions to measure and manage market, credit, and operational risk, as well as asset liability and collateral management, consistently across the banking (wholesale and retail) and trading books. Algo Suite 4.4 includes extensive Basel II functionality as well as Linux and distributed computing support.

Reporting is the process of accessing data, formatting and delivering it as information inside and outside the organization. It serves as the foundation of a broader business intelligence strategy by providing the most-requested pieces of information reliably and securely - via the web or embedded in enterprise applications. Business Objects provides a full range of reporting solutions, including widely adopted embedded reporting technology that simplifies data access and presentation for software developers. The Business Objects technology integrated with Algo Suite provides a number of features such as web based report creation, reporting from multiple data sources, and dashboard functionality.
