Operating continuously since 1863, Apple Bank is currently the 5th largest savings bank in the State of New York and is one of the strongest depository institutions in the nation. Apple, known for its commitment to building long-term relationships by offering high-quality, low-cost financial products and services, will install the Postilion system to handle all aspects of ATM transaction processing and debit card management.
Mosaic Software’s solution for Apple Bank runs in a Microsoft Windows environment with multiple interfaces to core banking applications, an interface to the NYCE network, and interfaces to various other systems. In addition, Mosaic's Postilion system provides Apple with a highly scalable and open architecture that permits easy implementation of new products to be delivered through the ATMs.
Detailed reporting as well as automated settlement and reconciliation for all networks and interfaces will be handled by the Postilion Office component of the system.
"We are very pleased that Apple Bank has chosen Postilion as the ATM processing platform to meet the changing financial services needs of its customers," stated Johann Dreyer, CEO at Mosaic Software. "It’s quite an honor to be associated with an organization that has such a rich heritage and focus on the future."
